Her Return After Being Kicked Out
Episodes
Plot Summary
Professor Charlie Clare, once a leading figure in U.S. nuclear medicine, sacrifices his prestigious career in the name of family. He longs to create a safe, stable home, believing his wife and daughter will treasure his devotion. Yet instead of gratitude, he is met with coldness. His wife and daughter drift toward Isaac, Charlie's rival in both work and love, leaving Charlie isolated in the very life he gave everything to protect.
As his family's indifference deepens, Charlie turns to the Unicorn Project, a groundbreaking medical endeavor he once envisioned. The project is more than science—it is his gift, designed to heal his daughter's rare neuro-skeletal birthmark and, perhaps, to bridge the emotional chasm between them.
Unbeknownst to his wife and daughter, every ounce of Charlie's energy and health is poured into the project. But when they reunite, rather than understanding his sacrifice, they lash out, widening the fracture between them.
Blinded by resentment and misunderstanding, they ultimately destroy the very legacy Charlie built for their sakes. Only after his life's work lies in ruins do they grasp the depth of his love and sacrifice. But realization comes too late, leaving them haunted by the weight of what has been lost forever.
